Advanced generation, daily allowance, and billing

Understand advanced generation, how the daily allowance is counted, what paid Pro includes, and what happens to cloud copies after access ends.

What stays free

Ordinary solves are free and unlimited without an account: up to 50 active people, with the same attendance, group capacity, and minimum occupancy in every session.

A scenario uses advanced generation when any of these applies:

  • more than 50 people are active;
  • a person attends only some sessions;
  • a group's capacity changes by session;
  • a group's minimum occupancy changes by session.

Solver choice, objectives, optimization settings, and metadata do not by themselves require advanced generation.

Use the daily allowance

Each verified person receives 3 free advanced generations per UTC day. Unused solves do not roll over. You need an account and an internet connection to start a free advanced generation.

Select Generate in Quick Setup or Run in Solver Workspace. If the advanced generation dialog appears, review your allowance and select Continue solving to start. Closing it does not use a free solve. Paid Pro runs start without the notice.

A valid, usable result uses one free solve. If the run finishes without a result, that use is returned. If GroupMixer cannot confirm the outcome of a started run, the use may remain pending and count toward the day it started. Check the dialog for your remaining allowance; runs on another device can change it.

When your allowance runs out, you can still edit, view saved results, export, and run ordinary solves.

Use paid Pro

Paid Pro has a base price of €6.99 per month, including tax. The pricing page automatically shows the currency for your detected country. EUR, GBP, JPY, and AUD prices include tax; USD and CAD prices have applicable sales tax added at checkout. Other local prices are estimates converted from EUR; checkout shows the final amount, including conversion fees.

Paid Pro is an ongoing subscription, billed automatically each month until cancelled. Cancel at any time without an additional notice period; your subscription and access end at the end of your current paid period.

Paid Pro removes the daily advanced generation limit. Participant, browser, and solver limits still apply, and an optimal result is not guaranteed.

During a temporary connection problem, paid Pro can work offline until the displayed access expiry. Reconnect to check your access after that. If your payment status is unavailable, try checking it again.

Use Pro & billing to check payment status, manage renewal, update payment details, and view invoices. After checkout, payment confirmation may take a moment.

Keep personal solves separate from cloud sync

Pro includes optional Cloud Sync for scenarios you own. Turn it on separately for each scenario you want to upload. Collaborators need their own paid Pro access or daily free allowance for advanced generations. They can still edit shared work, view results, and export when their allowance runs out.

If the owner's Pro access ends, syncing pauses. The cloud copy is kept for one continuous year, with deletion warnings 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry. Copies saved in your browser remain available. Renewing before deletion starts cancels the countdown and allows syncing to resume. Once deletion starts, renewing will not stop it or recover deleted cloud copies. To sync again, the owner must create a new cloud copy from a surviving local copy.

An independent local copy includes the current setup, Setup history, and saved results. Copied results start new histories; their original result edit histories stay with the original scenario. The independent copy stays on your device until you choose to sync it.

What changes for existing work

Your saved scenarios and results remain available for editing, viewing, and export. GroupMixer does not change your setup to avoid an advanced generation requirement.

When the advanced generation dialog appears, expand Why advanced generation? to see which settings require it. You can sign in, use a free solve, get paid Pro, or edit those settings. Quick Setup saves your draft before opening Help or your account. If saving fails, keep the page open and try again.
